Melissa and Jeremy - Winter Plums

Melissa and Jeremy got married on February 18th locally here in Merced. They had a simple traditional Catholic ceremony with a reception being held at St. Patrick's. The room is always so interesting to see the many transformations and how each couple executes the details. Being winter, they chose a simple elegant route utilizing creams, silvers and black with accents of lavenders and plums. We did three style centerpieces, short floral with the mixtures of purples in a rhinestone wrapped vase. Tall cylinders with double plum/lavender satin bands with all white hydrangeas and silver curly willow tips. The 3rd style was a cluster of three silver mercury glass hurricanes. All the catering was done by the fabulous, Chef Melissa! Melissa and Jeremy - Engagement

This was such a fun shoot we got to pull together at the last minute. Melissa and Jeremy got married on February 18th. We got together the beginning of February to get some engagement photos done for them to get a nice guest book to use at the wedding. We were able to blanket the town with some fun pieces like the vintage Pepsi bottles, chalkboards, barn, train and tracks and then some of my favorite downtown backdrops!!! Photos of the flowers soon to follow! MJ Blog 4 MJ Blog 3 MJ Blog 1 MJ Blog 7 MJ Blog 2 MJ BLog 5 MJ Blog 6 MJ Blog 9 MJ Blog 8 MJ Blog 10 MJ Blog 11 MJ Blog 16 MJ Blog 14 MJ Blog 15 MJ blog 17

Carrie and Jeff - Vibrant Vintage

Like most Yosemite couples, Carrie and Jeff planned their wedding from across the country. When she had first contacted me, we were able to discuss a variety of ideas that she had in her head for the overall look and feel for her wedding. The key points began with colors, wanting to do some fresh, bright bold hues of pinks and purples with some contrast of the spring green. They wanted a black tie affair with a vintage feel to tie in with The Ahwhanee Hotel so we accented her pieces with silver footed urns and ivory lace runners. Although they ended up enduring a rainy day in June, it was such a gorgeous event. Below are a couple images I was able to grab before departing to the venue of her bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet and one of each style centerpiece.
